breakfast and prayer for one hour on a Saturday morning

Ecumenical Breakfast that takes place in and around
Horndean on Fourth Saturday of each month.

..............................................Church, Emsworth. Taizé Service for Peace. Everyone is
welcome to come and pray for peace to end wars, peace for
reconciliation between adversaries, peace to change hearts
and minds, peace in just, merciful and compassionate use of
power, peace in mutual respect of people of all faiths and none,
peace in our families and the peace of Christ for each of us.

5th Sept 10.30 pm... ..The annual March for Life in London, beginning with
Mass at Westminster Cathedral at 10.30am, to be celebrated by
the new Archbishop of Westminster, Richard Moth, as well as
our own Bishop Philip and twelve other bishops. The March
itself starts at 1pm beside the Emmanuel Centre (postcode:
SW1P 3DW) near Victoria Station, ending at Parliament Square
at 3pm. No parish coach is planned, but if anyone would like
to travel up with others, let me know and I will try to arrange
something.

10th Sept 12.15 pm.......Lunch Club Thursdays in St. Edmund's Church Hall. Join us
for Monthly Thursday Lunches,. Enjoy a light lunch in a warm
atmosphere and meet new friends! All welcome. Contact Sue

12th Sept 7.30pm Fundraising Social Evening at Sacred Heart. Come along for a
fantastic evening of fun, food and friendship while supporting
Sacred Heart. Meal Included, a great sing-along guaranteed, BYO Drinks. £20 per person/£10 under 14.
Everyone is warmly welcome – bring your family and friends for
an enjoyable evening together! Tickets available from Nina and
John McCormack after 11am Sunday Mass or email

our Jesus Prince of Peace community – Grab your tickets while

17th Sept 10.30 am..Macmillan Coffee Morning at St. Edmund’s Come along and
enjoy a lovely morning with friends, delicious cakes and our
raffle – all while helping to raise vital funds for Macmillan
Cancer Support. Donations of cakes and raffle prizes would be
very much appreciated. If you are able to help out on the day,
please contact Lucy via WhatsApp. Everyone is very welcome –
we’d love to see you there!
26th Sept 4.00 pm Celebrating becoming one community: JESUS PRINCE OF
..............................................PEACE at Sacred Heart, Waterlooville. Mass followed by
refreshments in the Parish Centre. We warmly invite all
parishioners to come together as we celebrate. This is a joyful
moment in the life of our parish, and we would love to see as
many people as possible from St. Patrick, St Coman, St. Paul,
St. Joseph, Ss Thomas, St. Michael, St Edmund and Sacred
Heart. Come and celebrate this new beginning together as one
family in Christ.
