1st-14th June Shroud of Turin Exhibition. An exhibition around one of
the most famous religious artefacts in history at St.
John's Cathedral, Portsmouth. Details
7th June 1.00 pm Churches Together Pentecost Picnic
The Churches together family picnic will be held in St.
Edmund’s grounds. There will be a barbecue available for
you to bring and cook your own meat. We also hope to
have a bring and share table for rolls, salads, etc. Please
also bring your own garden chairs. Everyone is welcome.
8th June 3.00 pm A ONE SUNDAY PARISH Mass together on Pentecost
Sunday at Oaklands PO7 7BW.
Everyone is encouraged to
attend this special Mass in ‘traditional' clothing/National
dress! The sick and housebound will be able to view this
special Mass via St. Edmund’s YouTube link:
11th June 2.30 pm CAMEO come and join us for a cup of tea and a chat
at Stansted Garden Centre, Rowlands Castle. All Welcome.
14th June 12 noon Fr. Joe, parish priest at St. Joseph’s, Havant, celebrates
his 40th Anniversary of Priesthood with Mass.
Refreshments available after the Mass along with
children’s entertainment.
21st June 11.00 am Significant Anniversaries Mass at St Bede’s Church in
Basingstoke. Are you celebrating a 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th,
60th or anniversary over 60 years? If so, Bishop Philip
would like to invite you to this Mass of celebration.
This will be followed by a buffet lunch. It is a wonderful
occasion to celebrate and witness to Marriage.

28th June 8.30 am Churches Together Ecumenical Breakfast at St. James,
Clanfield
Breakfast at 8.30 followed by time for prayer and
fellowship
12th July The parish of St. Patrick, Hayling Island, celebrate their
100th Anniversary.
There will be a Centenary Celebration
Party, including Fayre activities, BBQ, refreshments and
music.
13th July 3.30 pm Excelsis
will be returning to the Sacred Heart to celebrate
Fr. Jeremy’s Golden Anniversary and retirement. Details of
which will be published soon.
20th July Father Jeremy will be saying his last Mass at St
Edmund's. A Parish Family Fun Day farewell celebration
with bring and share picnic is planned. Further details to
follow.
26th July 8.30 am Churches Together Ecumenical Breakfast at All Saints,
Catherington
Breakfast at 8.30 followed by time for prayer and
fellowship
26th July 11.30 am Celebration for Fr. Jeremy’s Golden Anniversary of
Priesthood at the Sacred Heart beginning with Mass.
Lunch afterwards in the parish centre and hopefully,
weather permitting, the Sacred Heart gardens. The lunch
will be a ticketed event – details of how to obtain your
ticket coming soon.
28th July - 4th Aug Diocesan World Youth Day Pilgrimage to Rome. Join
Bishop Philip and a group of young people 17+ on this
pilgrimage to Rome for the chance to unite with
thousands of young people from across the world.
21 Sept St. Patrick, Hayling Island, 100th Anniversary. There will
be a Solemn Pontifical Mass celebrated by Bishop Philip.
